Personal Approach: As an integrative psychiatric provider, I take a holistic and comprehensive approach to mental health care and blend both conventional psychiatry with complementary approaches. My focus is beyond treating symptoms and takes into consideration the gut-brain connection, interpersonal, lifestyle, and environmental contributions to create a personalized treatment plan to enhance self care, strengthen self-awareness, and promote overall wellness. I obtain objective data from stool tests to assess the microbiome, micronutrient tests, neurotransmitter metabolism tests, as well as tests to assess environmental toxins and detoxification pathways. I also use a trauma-informed approach and somatic techniques to improve the mind-body connection to address trauma and emotional issues.

Psychedelic Therapy has been my passion since 2018 and I believe in the innate healing powers we all possess and want to guide and evoke these powers within my clients on their healing journey. Plant medicines can be used in a therapeutic set and setting to intentionally invite and access our higher power and wisdom to bring about lasting change.

About Me: I enjoy being in nature, attending to my relationships with family and friends, and fostering my spiritual connection through varied practices.  I use food and movement as medicine and interweave Ayurvedic practices into my life as often as I can.

Specializations: Trauma/PTSD, Low Self-Esteem, Anxiety, Suicidality, Depression, Life Transitions

Personal Approach: It's my belief that effective change begins with a personalized approach. I believe therapy can only be effective when tailored to the individual and the specific journey they have traveled. I also believe we all possess a deep inner strength that due to trauma, loss, and many other life circumstances, can sometimes feel misplaced or even lost. My job as a mental health professional is to help guide you on a personalized healing journey, give a safe space to freely express emotions, and teach useful skills and tools for personal use in real world situations.

About Me: I have a background working in community mental health as a mental health and substance recovery therapist. I have worked with both federal drug and mental health courts and held the position of Carbon and Emery counties lead crisis therapist. I have taught many group therapy sessions such as Women’s Beyond Anger and Violence, Seeking Safety, DBT, and Relapse Prevention. I am trained in the highly effective Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). I believe healing is an individualized process. Due to this belief I incorporate a variety of modalities into individual therapy based on the clients needs.

Personal Approach: I approach therapy from a holistic perspective and use an interweave of evidence based modalities depending upon the needs of the client. Generally, EMDR, Brainspotting, Breathwork, and IFS are at the forefront of treatment. Therapy in my office can look like: talking, silently breathing and somatically processing, drawing, playing, walking in nature — all based on what feels best to you as you get to know yourself better and your own therapeutic needs, goals, and preferences. Whatever the modality, you are a co-creator of your therapeutic experiences and your voice matters.

About Me: It is really important to me to walk the walk and not just talk the talk as a therapist; I prioritize my own state of balance, growth, and self-care. Some of the things that help me feel balanced are: gardening, running, dancing, learning, creating connecting moments with people and animals…pretty much anything that fosters a sense of love, joy, and appreciation of the little things.

Patricia Morris, LMT, RMT

Trained In: Deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, reflexology, Swedish massage, PTSD trauma somatic release massage, special needs/populations massage, Usui reiki.

Personal Approach: As a Utah Licensed Massage Therapist and Certified Reiki Master Teacher, my approach is to work with the client’s body, and not against it, in a fully holistic and intuitive way. This means I really take the time to listen and connect to the client’s mind and body, so I can intuitively understand the approach that is needed. At every appointment with me, clients will be greeted professionally, kindly, warmly, compassionately, and with non-judgment. I will conduct a 5-minute consultation, formulating a customized treatment plan to meet the client’s goals and needs for the session. I am passionate about creating with clients the ideal, safe, comforting, and healing environment. As someone who has healed from complex PTSD, my passion is helping those with PTSD, and ideally, working with the client’s mental health therapist in utilizing trauma somatic release massage. This modality combines massage, bodywork, breathwork, and guided visualization with the client. Working with the client in this way, helps establish a sense of empowerment within them, as they somatically release trauma stored in the body. Through this approach, clients often report that chronic pain issues have greatly been reduced, or eliminated completely.

About Me: I love spending every moment possible, outdoors, in nature. I jokingly call nature my church, as it is where I feel closest to the Divine. Camping in our trailer is also a huge passion of mine in the spring, summer, and early fall. I also consider myself a very creative person, and am a watercolor artist, sewist, pianist of 41 years, and much more. Creating and recording a weekly spiritual podcast with friends is another passion of mine, and I believe in enjoying life to the fullest, unleashing the inner-child within.
